Never will you have a sense of family and togetherness more than at Capoeira Bamba. I started off taking an intro class for 4 weeks cause i needed a change in my daily routine of work-life and going to the gym to exercise. Not only is Capoeira such an extensive and well-rounded form of martial-art, the people I've met at Capoeira Bamba is so diverse. I would definitely recommend trying out a class.

From the moment I walked in i loved the energy! Capoeira Bamba has become a part of my life not just something i do as extra-curricular. I have been pushed to my limits and now do things that i never thought my body would do. The teachers are so inspiring, motivating and passionate. If you are looking for something that challenges your mind, body and spirit, this is it! But you wont understand the experience of Capoeira until you try it.

I started training here after having my second baby as a fun way to get back in shape. Nine years later, my daughters, my husband, my brother and friends have joined me in this infectious martial arts. Great training facility with amazing teachers that are always improving and finding ways to keep students engaged/motivated. Their passion for this Brazilian martial art is contagious. Not only will you get in shape, you will be expose to an array of Capoeira culture, which include singing in Portuguese, the history of Capoeira, drumming, samba, machete fighting (Maculele) and so much more. Once you step inside you will see and feel a great sense of community amongst teachers, students and parents. Give it try and you will not regret it!!!

If you're looking for a combination of Yoga, Jiu-Jitsu, Gymnastics, Pilates, and body-weight training, Capoeira is the entire package. I admit, it was a little bit intimidating at first to join a new group, but once I got over my own anxiety, the group became a second home for me. If you're new to Capoeira, make sure you sign up for the Intro Course (ideally) so you can train with some other folks who are at your level.
